What a great big sister!

Emma layed her head on my belly tonight and this is what she said, serious as can be:

"Sleeping Booty not scary, baby. Sleeping Booty your friend. So, hop on out baby. It not scary."

Is that not the cutest thing you have ever heard? She is just so excited about this baby and I think she is going to make the best big sister ever.

By the way, "Sleeping Booty" is Emma's favorite princess.

Santa Claus

Again, way late, but I have a bunch of posts that are going to be way late!

We went to the local shopping center and took pictures with Santa again this year. I love doing it there because there is never a line and Santa really takes his time with the kids.

Nathan was sick that day, but it was the last day Santa was going to be there, so we went ahead and visited anyway! No tears for either kid, but the whole thing was still a bit intimidating for them, note the look on E's face!

Here is Nathan telling Santa what he wanted. I think he panicked a little, because all he told him was a dinosaur. The boy has a million dinosaurs, but Santa still delivered!

Em was a little hesitant, but once Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she remembered why she was there! She told him straight out that she wanted a pink kitchen, the same thing she had told everyone else for the past few weeks. Here she is telling him. I love N's look of relief in this picture. He had just gotten done telling Santa what he wanted!

Christmas Program

I am way behind. It is the story of my life, but I don't mind!

N started school back in the Fall and he LOVES it. He only goes two days a week this year, but I think that is enough for both of us. I am not ready for a full time school kiddo. Anyway, his school is great--I mean the kind of great that we had to wake up at 3:30in the morning (and by "we", I mean Garett) just to get him in the right class for next year. Anyway, they give a big Christmas program that is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. Nathan's class sang, "Away in a Manger" and "Seek Ye First". I just about died when I saw how cute they were up there.

Afterwards, all the parents had to bring in a dozen cookies and we had a Cookie Party for everyone. N was so proud of himself afterwards, and so were we!

Its a GIRL!!!

Well, I guess its pretty obvious that we need to change the name of our blog! Baby is going to make FIVE in June! We found out this morning that we are having a little girl and couldn't be more thrilled. Garett and I didn't have a preference as to what we are having since we already have one of each. Nathan, on the other hand, wanted and brother and Emma wanted a sister. Poor N was sorely disappointed when I pointed out to everyone that is was a girl (before th u/s tech could). He crossed his arms, pouted out his lips, and went to the corner of the room. Poor kid. Emma, though, is THRILLED! She cannot wait to have a little baby sister, although I don't think she has any idea what that entails!

I can't believe we will have three kids soon. Wow!
